Transcendental was a typography brief whereby we had to create our own typeface out of a festival. 

The festival of my choice was Halloween, but the design holds a deeper meaning as it was inspired by the history of Halloween  where it used to be a tradition originated with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, when people would light bonfires and wear costumes to ward off ghosts. Hence, the design of the typeface fully revolves around both good and bad spirits.
